Community Outreach
Weekly AA Meeting:
Every Thursday at 7:00pm St. Martin's opens it's doors to AA's Thursday Night Reflection. The meeting takes place in the undercroft (St. Martin's basement).
Habitat for Humnaity:
St. Martin's is a proud participant in Habbitat for Humanity. Interrested parties should contact Stephaney Russell-Heller through St. Martin's at 402 733-8815.
Food In-Gathering:
The third Sunday of each month will be the designated Sunday for bringing food items to help with the Food Pantry at Iglesia Christo del Rey. Can goods, rice, beans, in short, nothing perishable, are all appropriate to bring. Food items can be brought at any time, but the transporting of the goods to Iglesia Christo del Rey will be the week following the third Sunday of the month.
Millennium Development Goals
The MDGs represent a global partnership that has grown from the
commitments and targets established at the world summits of the 1990s. Responding to the world's
main development challenges and to the calls of civil society, the MDGs promote poverty reduction,
education, maternal health, gender equality, and aim at combating child mortality,
AIDS and other diseases.
